Ordering
Supply lead times are affected by the type and quantity of the product you order, and by seasonal fluctuation in available production capacity. The information given below is for guidance purposes and, whilst we endeavor to maintain or improve upon our quoted lead-times, customers are advised to check when placing their order. Estimated dispatch dates are normally acknowledged within one working week of order receipt and you will be advised, in writing, if our estimated dispatch date varies significantly from your requested date.
Repeat orders (plus new orders for standard range items)
Standard range aluminium screw caps - normally available within 3-4 weeks
Tinplate screw caps - normally available within 6 - 8 weeks
Standard range aluminium containers - normally available within 6 - 8 weeks
All other products - normally available within 8 weeks
Please note that, by arrangement, we are able to hold raw material and/or finished goods stocks against firm order cover
New orders (with decoration/embossing or other tooling requirements)
Lead times for new products with custom coating, or embossing or decoration or orders involving more major tooling projects will be provided at the time of quoting.
Placing orders
Repeat orders can be placed by fax, email or post. If email is used, please ensure that orders are sent to the enquiries@roberts-metpack.co.uk address (and not an individual's address - in case of sickness or absence.) We are also able to accept orders via web portal by arrangement.
New orders can be placed in the same way but must be accompanied by a signed product authorization form.
