December 2007 - Roberts have achieved Silver in the Sustainability category for a re-fillable aluminium container for Lush handmade shampoo bars. Roberts are back to their winning ways with this award that has been given by the MPMA for this year’s Best in Metal competition.
		December 2007 - Roberts have won a Silver in the New Products / New Market Applications category in this year’s Best in Metal awards presented by the MPMA. The Silver was given for a steel container for hidersine 3v Violin Rosin product.
		December 2007 - Roberts are really pleased to accept the award for Health and Beauty category which we won with a Lush design for an embossed aluminium container.
2007 has been an excellent year for improvement to all aspects of our business. Winning these awards emphasises our continued commitment to producing bespoke products through our in-house design team and in-house manufacturing facility here at Thamesmead. 		2006 L’Occitane “Mom & Baby” duo wins Best in Metal Health & Beauty category In keeping with our award-winning tradition, despite the distraction of relocation, Roberts wins the Health & Beauty section of this year’s Best in Metal competition run by the MPMA
		2005 ROBERTS SCOOPS DOUBLE GOLD AT BEST IN METAL AWARDS! We are delighted to announce that our 83mm Aluminium Window Container has won the gold award for “Consumer Appeal” and the gold award for “New Product/New Market Application” at this years MPMA Best in Metal Awards. Supplied to British Pepper & Spice Co. Ltd. for the “Tesco’s Finest” range, the containers are filled with a range of five herb blends and seasoning rubs.

2003 Over the last 7-8 years, Roberts has been one of the most successful manufacturers in the UK Industry's flagship packaging competition - The Best in Metal Packaging - sponsored by our trade body, The Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association. In September 2003, at an award lunch to celebrate the winners of this year's substantially restructured competition (few categories but with double the number of entries) Roberts was once more recognised for its notable contribution to the development and manufacture of outstanding light metal packaging products.

• Best item of metal packaging in the Health and Beauty product packaging category (the only award in this category), for its embossed aluminium container for a range of solid shampoo bars for LUSH Manufacturing Ltd, UK. This award means that in every one of the last six years, Roberts has won 'gold' in the H & B product packaging category - something never before achieved by a UK manufacturer
• Best item in the Closures category (the only award in this category), for its embossed aluminium continuous threaded screw cap, for Davies Gate Salve jar, USA.
• Bronze Award in the Technical Innovation category, for its small threaded aluminium container with window lid for blemish cream for niche, US, health and beauty brand, Herban Cowboy.

At the 2002 'Best in Metal Packaging' presentation dinner at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London, Roberts Metal Packaging scooped six prestigious awards. These included a clean sweep of Gold, Silver, and Bronze in the Health and Beauty product packaging category, a repeat of 2001.
